From March 11-15th, Ava Robotics participated in the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, FL where we had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, thought leaders, and innovators to explore the latest trends and advancements in healthcare technology. Our Ava Robots are playing a pivotal role in facilitating remote care, enabling telenursing, and redefining the dynamics of family visitation in healthcare facilities. Through the integration of technology and compassionate care, Ava Robotics is empowering healthcare providers to offer personalized, efficient, and empathetic services to their patients, regardless of physical distances or limitations.
One of the key highlights of our participation at HIMSS was the demonstration of our collaboration with Cisco Webex. Ava’s integration with Cisco Webex offers secure and HIPAA-compliant collaboration, elevates healthcare delivery standards, and ensures patient privacy and data protection.
These are 3 use cases for Ava in Healthcare
1) Providers can have a physical presence at the point of care without actually being there, allowing them to assess patients, consult with on-site staff, and make critical decisions in real time. This not only improves the efficiency of care delivery but also improves outcomes by ensuring they receive timely and expert care, even if the specialist is miles away.
2) Telenursing allows nurses to use Ava to monitor patients, provide education and support, and even assist with basic care tasks remotely. This not only expands the reach of nursing services but also increases the accessibility of quality care, especially for patients in rural or underserved areas.
3) Family visitation has become more meaningful and interactive with the Ava Robot, allowing loved ones to connect with patients in healthcare settings even when they can't be physically present. By controlling Ava remotely, family members can virtually visit patients, chat with them, and even participate in activities together.
